How should I start modeling a city that has the least amount of service buildings covering the most amount of residential buildings?
If a residential building even has an overlap of 1 tile with the area of influence of a service building then it will be able to avail the service. A residential building takes up an area of 2*2 and the population of the building is dependent upon the services it gets. Each category has a few buildings of different dimensions that cover a specified area under its influence. There are 3 main service categories(Fire, Police, Health). (The only two categories that I would like to model as they serve the main purpose of the game) Buildings are widely divided into Residential and Services. Additionally, each building has to be connected(placed next to) to a network of roads leading up to the highway. A single road takes up an area of 1*1 where roads on adjacent tiles merge together whereas buildings can take up a wide amount of area depending upon the type and they cannot be merged. The map area depends upon the amount of area bought/unlocked by the player and can change eventually. Once you have a Speed Up Token you can accelerate the production of items in Commercial buildings. For example, Cheetah Buildings produce Cheetah Speed Up Token Parts and Llama Epic Buildings produce Llama Speed Up Token Parts. The type of token you get depends on your Epic Building type. A counter will appear to display how many you have collected. Tap the Speed Up Token Parts above Epic Buildings to collect them. You will need several of a token type in order to make a Speed Up Token. There are 3 types of collectible Speed Up Token Parts that your Epic Buildings produce. After you complete that Epic Project, there is a cooldown before you can start another. You can only work on one Epic Project at a time. Once time is up, tap Upgrade to create your Epic Building.
When the timer runs out the project tier you reached (Turtle, Llama, or Cheetah) will determine what type of building you get. You have a limited time to complete an Epic Project once you start it.
Tap the Epic task bubbles with the star token icon to begin helping your community and earn Project Points.Īs you earn more Project Points you will reach higher project tiers:.Tap it and then drag the required Simoleons to the buildings to start your Epic Projects. Look for bubbles with the winged golden helmet icon near your Specialization buildings. Find it in the Government - Services menu. Get approval for Epic Projects and build your Department of Epic Projects. Turn your city into an Epic one by completing Epic Projects and upgrading your highest level buildings into masterpieces.
